Community Event (Not a church function.)
Join us for an informal party to meet one of MCCs newest Elders, Nancy Maxwell! Elder Maxwell will be in the Atlanta area for business and wanted to drop by and spend some time with us just to get better acquainted and to offer support after the hate crimes we experienced back in June/July. We hope you’ll attend this informal event!
During our Spring Lenten study earlier this year those who attended the class gave ideas for other studies they would like to have offered. One of the most popular ideas was to have a comparative religions study. Ask and ye shall receive! The class we will be offering has a total of 24 lessons. Rather than have 24 weeks in a row of the study, we are
dividing it up a bit. The first six sessions will begin September 28th and run for six consecutive weeks (Mondays) with the last class of the first session to end on November 2nd. Class time is 6:30PM each Monday and the class will last between 1 and 1 ½ hours , depending on discussion. Rev. Rick will be leading the class. You may register for the class by checking the box on the back of the Connection Card! We hope you will join us for the study. We’re looking forward to an informative class!
