Outreach
Our Outreach Team develops ministries that reaches beyond
our church into the community. This is done through the church website, e-newsletter and various community projects

MCCOOR Outreach Team’s “This Little Light” Campaign 2012 is
to Do Justice, Show Kindness and Live Humbly with God
Jesus taught us to do justice, show kindness and to live humbly with God.  The ways that we do this are many and limited only by our imagination and willingness to connect with the world.

If you have ever stood by and witnessed cruelty, injustice, hatred, and things you know in your hearts to be evil.

If you have ever wished you had done something….anything.  It’s not too late!

It is not the size of our wallets or strength of our backs that define us as God’s children.  It is the love that we show to one another in the face of everything going on around us.

The end of hunger or thirst begins with a single morsel of food or drop of water.  We as individuals and as a collective group of devoted Christians can change the world.

Let’s renew ourselves and begin again in earnest in 2012.  Shine your little light into the darkness and miracles will happen. The challenge from your Outreach Team this year is to select one personal Christian passion and do something about it..this year…now.

To get you started here’s a few suggestions but feel free to add any that may have been overlooked.  We will meet as a team on January and determine our road for 2012 and how we can collectively and individually shine our lights this coming year.
